We met working at a busy restaurant in the heart of Cheltenham, in the heart of The Cotswolds. Hetty had returned from a season working as a chef on a private yacht in Monaco and Lucie worked front of house. We soon developed a wonderful friendship and would regularly talk of one day owning our own cafe or restaurant to showcase our love of great food and relaxed, un-stuffy service. With this always at the back of our minds, we continued to learn through working within the catering and hospitality industry and gained a wealth of experience and knowledge.
We ran a cookery school together which added another dimension to our skill set and opened up a door into really understanding international foods and flavours. We now pride ourselves on being able to create menus with an incredibly diverse feel to them with worldwide influences.
Lucie further went on to become an events manager for a very reputable company in the Cotswolds. It was here she learned to successfully run large scale mass catering events, not only on the day, but the entire planning process from the first point of contact between Lucie and the client.
